Below are just a few images from my training and facilitation events and onboarding sessions. My experience for in person training runs from week long seminars, hands-on experiential STEM playgrounds, international convention presentations and on site coaching.
Before the pandemic, face-to-face training and seminar planning was a large part of my career. As the Learning and Development Director of a the EAST Initiative, a STEM education non-profit I planned and led 50+ days of professional development along with a yearly 3-day seminar.
With Rotary International, I facilitated seminars to support the continued learning and development of peers within my organization and team. I helped my co-workers design their own trainings from needs analysis through measurement and evaluation. I also designed the onboarding of our work-study program.

Team building & Icebreakers
Training face to face provided a lot of opportunities for teambuilding. In the past couple of years, I have curated resources for virtual teambuilding.

Seminars & Playgrounds
This photo depicts our teacher/facilitators participating in a hands-on playground. My approach to both virtual and face-to-face training is for participants to “learn by doing.”

Training and Onboarding
Experiential Learning and hands-on learning for adults is a big focus when I create training. I also try to incorporate peer-to-peer learning where appropriate which you can see depicted in this photo.
